Mosquito pressure on the north shore is less about the season starting and more about when it briefly lets up. Expect to keep people and pets off treated foliage until it dries, usually a short wait, and expect follow-up visits on a cycle through the season — residuals break down under Louisiana sun, humidity and rain, so a single spray in April does not carry you to October.
